Job Summary:
To
resolve Netcool Change requests/incidents.
To
obtain new requirement from Client users with respect to Application requests
types.
To
deliver the committed Change request in appropriate time with all quality and
technical expectations met.
To
ensure that service requests/incidents which have been directed to email and
the support chat channel are checked, logged and confirmed in accordance with
the internal procedures to agreed service levels
To
ensure that critical Netcool notifications are fixed/escalated to appropriate
groups.
To
develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of Netcool applications.
Follow
the incident, change and problem management processes, as defined and agreed by
client and provide feedback, where applicable, of shortcomings and suggested
improvements to the processes
To
proactively identify and implement improvements to existing processes,
leveraging upon available toolsets to reduce manual intervention, in order to
manage incidents more effectively and ultimately improve the level of service
and support provided.
Job Skills:
Excellent Communication skills.
IBM
Netcool Suite of Products like Netcool Webgui, ISM, Impact.
The
purpose of this role is to provide a single, central point of contact for
client staff for all incidents and change service requests and all issues in
respect to applications on IBM Netcool Suit of Products covering an 8 hours of
support through out 5 days per week.
