Job Description:
This
position is responsible for supporting the Vat analyst in the preparation of
monthly VAT return data for multiple European entities and other local indirect
Taxes as applicable.
It will obtain supporting documents as required and upload
information into workflow manager and maintain files for access and ease of
reference.
Identify
and Extract invoices from various systems and prepare files of support
documents of third party and intercompany invoices to support all in scope
entries on Indirect Tax balance sheet and P&L accounts.
Input
data into spreadsheets and upload into workflow manager.
Maintain
all spreadsheet and documentation inventories.
Manage
storage and archive of files both electronically and paper as required ensuring
compliance with record retention policy rules in relevant markets.
Provide
calendar updates to Indirect Tax return preparers, ensuring all deadlines are
communicated and monitored.
Assist
analyst with ad hoc projects.
Need
to be flexible and respond to information requests at short notice.
Tight,
unmovable deadlines.
Extracting,
sorting and maintenance of high volumes of data.
Contribute
to process improvement and prioritisation initiatives.
Good
organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize workload.
Highly
PC literate to include good understanding of various internal systems such as
Oracle, Essbase, Intercompany, Millenium and Work Flow Manager.
Ability
to work deal with a wide range of people including EMEA Finance, FC-E and FC-W.
Results
driven and ability to perform multiple tasks, work to strict deadlines and
prioritise tasks.
Provide
required data in line with critical tax return deadlines and reporting
requirements.
Personal
accountability in ensuring all tasks and activities are carried out on time.
