Job Summary:
Candidate should be a Any Graduates from a recognized university.
Masters/Bachelor Degree in computers/communication/electrical engineering.
1 to 3 years of development experience on JAVA/J2EE platform.
Strong knowledge of XML Models.
Strong knowledge on SNMP.
Good exposure to Layer 2/Layer 3 Protocols.
Strong communication skills, both Verbal and Written.
Good Team Player.
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Good working knowledge of IDE's, testing frameworks, defect tracking tools, and version control systems.
Job Description:
Good understanding of network management domain.
Experience with NMS/EMS Development.
Prior experience in working with multi-site teams.
Knowledge of scripting languages like PERL, Shell etc.
Job Responsibilities:
The Software Development Engineer will be involved in the design and development of the Alcatel-Lucent Network Management Software (AMS) for access network elements ISAM, GPON etc.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
Design, Coding and debugging for assigned features.
Unit testing of own code.
Review of code developed by other members of the team.
Effective review of product requirements, user documentation and test designs.
