3+ years developing web applications, particularly architecting and managing public-facing systems.
Hands-on experience with web technologies, web standards, protocols, and languages.
Understanding of web accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
Knowledge of progressive enhancement, semantic markup, HTTP protocol, and performance optimization techniques.
Track record building distributed, clustered, high-throughput applications.
Familiarity with web services, especially REST.
Strong debugging, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
Experience with software revision control systems (git preferred).
Willingness to learn and implement new technologies quickly and effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous search experience is a plus.
