degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, related field or equivalent
work experience.
The
Jr. Mobile Developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining a
variety of mobile apps specifically targeting the iPad, iPhone and web.
This
role will work closely with IT project managers, onshore and offshore resources
and 3rd parties to deliver world class solutions that exceed the expectations
of the business.
This
individual will need to develop in Objective C and have an understanding of the
benefits and limitations of designing and developing for mobile devices.
An
understanding of Agile processes is a plus.
To
succeed in this role, the individual must be focused on the needs of the
business, the capabilities of the technology and have exceptional development
and documentation skills.

Experience
with SVN and GIT a plus
Experience
with Jira and Sharepoint a plus.
Experience
with App Store submission a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
Working
closely with other IT team members and end users to provide solutions based on
business requirements during all phases of the development process.
Creating
solutions based on business needs by developing stand-alone apps or enhancing
existing apps.
Designing
and developing new apps from the ground up including detailed design,
architecture and documentation.
Hands
on involvement in all aspects of development including requirements, design,
coding, testing and QA.
Supporting
other team members on app development.
Supporting,
troubleshooting, debugging, and testing changes to existing apps in support of
end users on a daily basis.
Developing
user interfaces, building components, documenting and optimizing code and
participating in code reviews.
Reviewing,
proposing and making improvements to existing apps where possible.
Exemplifies
teamwork and fosters a team environment.
Passionate
about providing technology solutions to business problems while taking
advantage of new software patterns and architectures.
Providing
technical and analytical support as it relates to mobile apps and mobile
technology.
