Job Description:
This position forms part of the GCS Platform support team which provides 24x7x365 support therefore shift work will be involved.
Looking for a individual who has exposure to Microsoft windows servers, storage, backups or VM ware.
Essential Responsibilities:
Eye on glass monitoring, raising tickets for each monitoring.
Managing multiple monitoring screens.
Performing the backup activity for servers.
Access provisioning request to engineers.
Timely response to e-mails and requests.
Customer service: take ownership and manage all support cases via emails/ticketing systems.
Provide regular updates to end users/requesters and close of their queries within agreed timescales.
Problem escalation to the second level team and follow the defined process.
Attend team meeting and conf call and identify and highlight any issue with process.
