Job Summary:
Candidate should be BE/BTech/PG from a recognized university.
1-3 years of hands-on experience working on embedded systems, C/C++ development/debugging, Perl/Python scripting, knowledge of Cellular/Wireless protocols and excellent knowledge of Software/Computer Architecture and Operating Systems.
Knowledge of performance and memory optimizations in embedded systems, compilers and linkers is desired.

Job Description:
As part of the overall Modem Software Performance and Architecture team, the Modem Software Performance Engineer will be responsible for performance analysis and memory optimizations of the modem/mobile software.
The Engineer will collect relevant metrics by profiling the modem software that will be helpful in analysis of memory usage for different scenarios and configurations and work with other technical members across different teams to analyze the data.
The candidate will also be responsible for identifying software optimizations in different areas of the modem software.
The candidate will work on innovative methods of software performance optimizations in the protocol software, RTOS, compilers and linkers.
