Job Summary:

Candidate should be a Degree Level (Preferably in Finance and/or business).

Ideally an understanding of financial markets – particularly the credit derivatives market.

Alternatively demonstrate a strong interest in the mechanics of financial markets.

Knowledge of data vendor offerings within financial services is preferable.

Excellent team-working skills – help fosters, and is interested in, the well-being of the team.

Management requirements.

Strong Microsoft Excel and Access.

Working  knowledge of SQL.

Very good eye for detail – and a careful and methodical approach to work.

Good problem solver.

Reliable – can be relied on to undertake defined duties on a consistent basis and to agreed deadlines.

Good time-manger – can balance immediate day to day deadlines with longer term work.

Communication.

Strong communication skills – particularly written communication.

Is confident in escalating issues to management (not afraid to communicate bad news).

Seeks advice as needed – eg, prioritization of workload or help with a difficult issue.

Readily shares information with colleagues and management.

Shift Timings:

Floating time among India, London & New York.

India hours shift           -            (9:00 AM  IST to 6:00 PM  IST)

London hours shift        -           (12:00 PM IST to 9:00 PM IST)

                                                 (2:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM IST)

New York hours shift      -          (8:00 PM IST to 5:00 AM IST)

Job Description:

Data analyst role within the Credit Operations team.

The team is responsible for key maintenance of and client support for the flagship CDS product.

Data Operations: Run regular operational data processes to maintain the Credit products as prescribed by the Credit Operations management team.

Client Support: provide client support (eg, on-boarding and product queries) as scoped by Credit Operations management team.

Metrics: assist in compiling regular metrics of operational activity including data quality statistics.

UAT: Assist in acceptance testing of product software releases.

Process Improvement: improve operational efficiency through proposing process enhancements – and then implementing as agreed with the management team.

Documentation: Ensure process documentation is kept fresh - and accounts for any changes to existing process and is extended to cover new processes.
