Job Description:
SDL
is looking for exceptional ASP.NET Software Engineers/Developers to join a team
developing SDL’s in-house business applications systems.
These
developers will be working as part of a highly motivated, intelligent, agile
team writing software that will help our organisation grow some exciting new
revenue streams.
The
ideal candidate will have excellent ASP.NET/C# experience and be comfortable
with SQL.
Familiarity
with agile processes (we use Kanban), and Test Driven Development would also be
desirable.
Working
in an Agile environment (Kanban), you will:
Work
through a product backlog to deliver both new features and enhancements to
existing features in the software.
Where
appropriate, liaise with the end user to refine the software requirements.
Develop
high quality solutions that respond to the business needs.
Be
involved in the troubleshooting and resolution of defects in the software.
Help
define and implement suitable acceptance / unit tests for your solutions.
Proactively
suggest improvements to the design of the software.
Accurately
document the solutions you produce.
Use
slack time to expand your skill set in ways that drive forward your own
abilities in a way that is beneficial to SDL.
