Job Description:
This Test Design Engineer is an entry-level position, which may include up to 2 years of experience.
Equipment/Software Skills: C/C++ object-oriented programming experience, standard debugging methodologies, hardware design, software version control tools, communications test development tools (MIB browsers, terminal emulation packages, network monitoring software), experience required.
Knowledge in basic communications technologies (Ethernet, TCP/IP, SNMP, ATM, switches, routers) and in telecommunications carrier technologies (DSLAM, xDSL, DS1, DS3, SONET, SDH, EoCu) is preferred.
JAVA and Perl experience is a plus.
Travel Expectations: International travel may be expected.
