Infrastructure- Build and Release is responsible for setting up environments
and provide technical support and guidance for the project/ engagement on
development/ support/production environment, associated hardware, operating
system, software products and network services.
Job Skills:
Very good knowledge of ProE (3D and 2D modules) is
must. Good knowledge of UG will be added advantage.
Be able to perform free-body diagram evaluation of
components/system.
Be able to conduct tolerance stack-up calculations
of component assemblies.
Be comfortable performing rough stress calculations
by hand.
Have understanding of fundamental structural design
principles.
Be able to review 3D CAD models.
Be able to work with drafter/modeler to create
detailed drawings/3D CAD models.
Have ability to check drawings from a dimension and
tolerance standpoint.
Have understanding of gas turbine fundamentals.
Job Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility will be to lead or
participate in Integrated Product Teams to develop gas turbine Combustion
components. The responsibilities will include participation in the following
major component development phases: i) conceptual development ii) prototype
development, manufacturing and testing iii) basic design/analysis iv) detailed
design/analysis v) manufacturing qualification vi) engine testing.
The Candidate
will be responsible for creation of 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings,
understand the Mechanical Design aspects of Combustion components. Later ss
part of the above responsibilities, the candidate will:
Work within a multi discipline project team on
prototype and/or production projects.
Interface with modeler and lead mechanical design,
analysis, heat transfer and materials engineers on the team to ensure design
meets functional requirements.
Interface with internal manufacturing and external
suppliers to get assigned parts manufactured within project schedules.
Interface with internal and external test
technicians/engineers to complete prototype and engine testing of designed
components.
